65 Gen Alpha Slang Words and Meanings

If you thought Gen Z slang was difficult to keep up with, you’re “totally cooked” when it comes to Gen Alpha slang! Generation Alpha is entering their teenage years, and they’re quickly developing their own vocabulary. Teens usually learn new words when watching TikToks or streamers on Twitch. If a new word catches on, they’ll bring it to school and share it with their friends. This means that new words gain popularity incredibly quickly, making it difficult for parents to keep up.

These words are also very difficult to keep up with because you will often hear your teen use a word that is not defined in Google. By the time a definition becomes available, Generation Alpha slang has most likely moved on to a new term. This is why we put together this gen alpha slang list of the most popular words and phrases. You can use this list to understand what your teen is saying. Alternatively, if you want to make your teen cringe, try using the words with them!
