Sometimes, Barbie vs Ken day is simply known as Barbie Day during spirit week, as Barbie is the main character. It was most recently popularized by the extremely successful Movie that came out in 2023. Barbie dolls were originally created by Mattel, introduced in 1959 and Ken dolls came out in 1961. Barbie, known for her expansive wardrobe and multiple career paths, represents empowerment and limitless possibilities for young girls. Ken, her equally stylish “boyfriend”, complements Barbie’s adventures with his own diverse outfits and personas. Barbie Spirit Day Outfit Ideas
- Pink Glam: Try an iconic pink dress, high heels and a blonde wig. Accessorize with a sparkly purse, matching jewelry and sunglasses.
