Writer Contracts

At Your Teen Media, we pride ourselves on having fair terms for our writers. Here are some key provisions as of this writing (Caution: Always rely on your official contract rather than this summary!):

• While Your Teen continues to hold rights to your work forever, you can also resell your work to another publisher after six months if you let us know and link back to your original piece on Your Teen.
• We ask that you share your work on social media, your website, and/or by other means of publicity. We share your work, too!
• We reserve the right to edit your work, and our writers work with us on edits or revisions as needed.
• If we have accepted your work as a paid piece, and we decide not to publish it, we will pay a kill fee.
