Welcome to Your Teen Media! We’re only five years old, but we sure do know a lot about teenagers.
Your Teen developed out of personal passion but grew out of universal need. Friends Stephanie Silverman and Susan Borison saw that their own parenting concerns and fears resonated with most everyone they polled. As they were wondering whether their teens’ struggles were normal, or whether their parenting woes were typical, other parents were dealing with the same insecurities. Unfortunately, the books and magazines they had relied on when their children were younger didn’t much help with teenagers. And so, Your Teen was born.
These days, we’re pleased to say that Your Teen is a leading source for parents seeking high-quality information and advice about raising teenagers. We couldn’t be prouder.

Your Teen Magazine is our quarterly print magazine. We pack every issue with in-depth reporting on what’s impacting teenagers today. But we don’t stop there. We go the extra mile to help readers by providing practical, hands-on advice from nationally recognized experts. We also have personal essays; recipes; advice about college admissions; and interviews with celebrity parents (like Laurie David, Dr. Oz and Josh Malina).

Sue oversees Your Teen’s editorial operations. When she’s not wielding her red pen on the latest copy to hit her desk, she’s on the phone with parents and other experts to learn what her staff should write about next. She’s also a mom of five, including three teenagers, and has a B.A. from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
Stephanie Silverman, Publisher
Stephanie oversees the marketing, advertising and sales operation for Your Teen. She and her staff spend most days helping businesses connect with parents of teenagers in the pages of the magazine, on the website and at Your Teen’s popular parenting events. She’s also a mom of three, including two teenagers, and has a B.S. from Miami University of Ohio.
